Back in the PICU / Bronchoscope
Good morning, We are in need of your prayers once again. Fletcher is in the hospital, he is in the PICU and on the ventilator. He has pneumonia. But, the doctors will be able to do two of the test that they have wanted to do. A surgeon will do the bronch scope on his trachea and esophagus while he is on the vent. A GI doctor will then do a pH test to see if his fundo (the surgery he had in May that helps him not reflux) to see if it is working properly. There is another test, a gastric emptying test they will do, but it has to be done at Children's Hospital and we are in Baptist. As I sit here I am unsure about how to pray, so please pray as the Lord leads you. We know God is good and that He created Fletcher and He makes NO mistakes. We also know there is a purpose for what's happening with our sweet, little boy and we are eager for some answers. Fletcher is in great hands at Baptist and he is with doctors and nurses who know him well, that is very comforting to us. Need to go and as always we are so thankful for the Body of Christ and how you all are taking care of us. Much love, Craig & Denise Denise Burns http://www.type40.com/family
