Bronchoscopy and Biopsy
Hi everyone! First of all we want to thank all of you who participated in the prayer vigil for Fletcher yesterday and today. WOW! The Lord is so good to us. We are trusting and believing that the Lord is going to heal our sweet boy and we know all of you are too! Again, thanks for being the body of Christ to us, we would not be able to do this without the love and prayer support of our friends and family. Fletcher is still in the hospital and still on the ventilator, yesterday the pulmonolgist did another bronchoscopy and biopsied his air ways and then took some of the secretions from his lungs to be tested for a sort of 'bug' or organism that might be there. We should know something in a few days. The doctor has started weaning Fletcher off of his pain meds and the ventilator, Lord willing, he'll be off the ventilator within the next 48 hours. He had a rough day yesterday, today he rested a lot. It's obvious that he's getting restless and tired of having that tube down his little throat. All of the doctors and nurses have been so wonderful to Fletcher and to us. All of our nurses love him and one calls about him every time she's off! It's such a blessing knowing he's with people who love him. Thank you for your continued prayer support. We are weary and ready for our baby boy to come home with us. We'll keep you posted. Much love, Craig & Denise Denise Burns http://www.type40.com/family
