Trach Scheduled
Good morning, Fletcher is scheduled to have a tracheostomy on Friday, December 16th at 7:15 am. Please pray for him this week. Every time the doctors try to wean him off of the ventilator, he doesn't tolerate it well. We're hoping that the trach will help get him off the ventilator. And we'll be able to hold him and see his WHOLE face!:) We are in the process of filling out the paper work for Fletcher to go to the Children's Center, please pray that our insurance will pay for the first 30 days, that they have room for him and that the doctors and nurses there will treat him as they would their own child. I've been hear only positive stories about the Children's Center, which of course is so encouraging. It looks like Fletcher will be spending his first Christmas and birthday surrounded by the nurses that love him! YEA! One of the nurses bought him a little Christmas tree with lots of lights on it, he loves it! I have attached a picture of Fletcher with his new 'crinklely nose smile'. This picture is so encouraging to Craig and me because it shows us how Fletcher can adapt to his situation and his surroundings. He is such a trooper! He is so brave and courageous, we are so proud of him! We are not sending a Christmas card this year, but as soon as we are able to take some pics of all three of our children together we will send them via email! We pray you all have a glorious Christmas and that the Lord blesses you all as you have truly blessed us! Much love, Craig & Denise
