About this Site

Why did I write this website?  First off, let me start with, I am a Sooner Fan.  That is pretty obvious, huh?  One night, while I was talking to a friend of mine, I wanted to know how many times Miami had beaten Oklahoma in the past.  I only remembered the times we played them in the 80's.  One person told me that OU had never beat Miami and another said yes, OU beat Miami in the 70's at least once.  I wanted to put something together where I could find these things out if I were looking them up on the web.  Well, here's a start.

All times listed on this site are in Sooner Time (otherwise known as Central Time).

Calculation Notes

Win Pct: Ties count as 1/2 win when calculating the win percentage.  Therefore a record of 9-2-1 is a win percentage of 79.2% - not 75% as logic would dictate since a tie is not a win.  Formula:  Pct = (Wins + (.5 * Ties)) / Games * 100.

The NCAA formula for passing efficiency is: [ { (8.4 * yards) + (330 * touchdowns) - (200 * interceptions) + (100 * completions) } / attempts ].  This is not used on this site but is included here for reference.
