Type40 "About" Section
Entertainment (Anime, Movies, Television) - About
This section is the combination of the Episode Guides, Anime and Movies I've Seen. I've combined them because they are so similar. You may still separate out the search criteria when listing shows.
This section has now combined with the DVD's section as well.
You will see that the theme for the pages being viewed will change based on what type of show you are looking at. The four basic areas now are:
A general explanation for some sections of this website:
This web site was originally started as a Tenchi Muyo! site (as you may probably be able to tell from the amount of information for that title as compared to the rest). It has evolved into a site about "anime that I have watched". There is not a whole lot here though at this time.
I first started enjoying anime during the summer before 8th grade. A show called Star Blazers came on at 3:00 PM. I had seen a couple of Speed Racer shows at my aunt's house in Houston and that's what first peaked my interest. Once school started I was unable to watch it and, this being the time before VCR's were common, I never saw more than about 15 or 20 episodes. The artwork was different and the story was more "grown up" which both drew me in. This later led to watching G-Force (the Americanized version of Gatchaman) which I actually hated but there was nothing else on then.
In high school, when I could catch it, I started watching Robotech. This went on through college and I used a friend's VCR to tape it because it came on at 5:00 AM. Again, I liked the complexity of the show. I only later found out that it was a cheap copy of three other shows, namely Super Dimension Fortress Macross.
Anime fell to the wayside for a while and then one day I saw Bubblegum Crisis. I rented it from Blockbuster because it had an interesting name. I enjoyed the story and music a lot in this anime and much later bought it when I discovered DVD's and the magic of amazon.com.
After this I purchased the Tenchi OVA from amazon and that's where this site began. I soon started buying various anime from Suncoast at the mall. It has a large selection but this soon became too much for my finances. I joined Netflix and I started renting anime from them. They do not have a full selection but they have enough for me to get my fix.
Because of this, the rented anime, for obvious reasons, have less information on this site than the ones I own.

What the hey! Another website. I thought I'd put a few episode guides together. These are television shows that I like or liked at one time (some are pretty dorky now days). Every once in a while I like to see what an episode was named or try to remember a certain TV show and I don't like looking all over creation to find it. This is a place that, once I find what I'm looking for, I won't have to hunt it down again. I have scraped most of this information from the Internet and the places that I got the data are credited.
All television shows in this section are denoted with copyrights (when known). This is for informational purposes only. No copyright infringement is intended.

On my TO DO list:
Movies I've Seen
Why do these pages exists?
When I lived in Mississippi a co-worker and I started talking about how much we loved movies. He thought he had seen more and, of course, I thought that I'd seen more than him. So that got me to thinking and I started writing down all of the movies that I'd seen. Of course, I didn't come up with this overnight and this is more than likely not all of them that I've seen, but it is a good start.
Movies were combined with the Episode Guides on 8 Jan 2008
The DVD section is simply some information on DVD's that I have or have passed through my collection at one point or another. Not much to it, really. I just thought I'd include them.
