The TARDIS materializes in Asia Minor near Troy.  The Doctor is given two days to find a way to capture Troy after having to admit he is not the god Zeus.  Steven and Vicki are taken prisoner by the Trojans.  The Doctor creates the fabled Trojan Horse and gives the Greeks victory over the Trojans.  Steven is wounded in the battle and Cassandra's handmaiden Katarina helps to get him back into the TARDIS.  Vicki decides to stay behind with prince Troilus.
