Caitlin and Peter begin their journey to Montreal after her brother's death and seeing Peter's painting.  Claire needs to get on the cheer squad so that her lie to her father is not totally a lie.  She and West come up with a plan that involves both of their powers.  Mr Bennet is in the Ukraine with the Haitian and confronts a former company colleague about the eight missing paintings.  He and the Haitian use very questionable methods to get their information.  Sylar is still with Alejandro and Maya and they use her powers to get past vigilante border patrols into the US.  Sylar makes his plans 'clear' to Alejandro who doesn't speak English.  Monica goes through tests for the company and Mohinder.  Mohinder balks at giving her a drug that may have severe consequences and confronts Bob about this.  Bob later apologizes to Mohinder for his actions and asks for him to stay on as a 'conscience' to the company.  He is dealing with a dangerous man at the moment named Adam Monroe and assigns a new partner for Mohinder.  Mohinder comes to realize that his new partner is Niki.  Hiro, Kensei and Yaeko, in feudal Japan, are about to rescue her father.  When Kensei discovers Hiro's and Yaeko's feeling for each other, he betrays them both.  In Montreal, Peter and Caitlin discover a message for him left from someone named Adam.  He transports them into a future New York with another unknown ability of his where the entire city has been evacuated.
