A series of definitives issued beginning in 1938 depicting all of the presidents of the UInited States through Calvin Coolidge. Three stamps also included non-presidentail subjects. Each of these included a ½ cent.
This series is the first time that stamps were issued that had denominations other than the normal postal rates of the time.
