I'd been surprised when the guy belted me.

I left my office in the dark and went home, brushing past the shapes of things we do not see, into shadows of uncertain futures and pasts that don't lie down.

"A creepy and original addition to the urban
fantasy landscape." - Tanya Huff, Author of
Smoke and Mirrors

When Harper comes to in the hospital, she begins to feel a bit... strange.  She sees things that can only be described as weird - shapes emerging from a foggy grey mist, snarling teeth, creatures roaring.

But Harper's not crazy.  Her "death" has made her a Greywalker - able to move between our world and the mysterious, crossover zone where things that go bump in the night exist.  And her new gift (or curse) is about to drag her into that world of vampires and ghosts, magic and witches, necromancers and sinister artifacts.

Whether she likes it or not.

Greywalker is a perfect blend of hard-boiled P.I. and supernatural thriller.  It'll grab you from the first page and won't let you go until the last."

I had a Christmas gift card and say some of these books in the series and thought I'd give them a try.  Looked kind of Dresden-esque with a female lead instead.

  • I try to maintain page numbers for audiobooks even though obviously there aren't any. I do this to keep track of pages read and I try to use the Kindle version page numbers for this.
  • Synopses marked with an asterisk (*) were generated by an AI. There aren't a lot since this is an iffy way to do it - AI seems to make stuff up.
  • When specific publication dates are unknown (ie prefixed with a "Cir"), I try to get the publication date that is closest to the specific printing that I can.
  • When listing chapters, I only list chapters relevant to the story. I will usually leave off Author Notes, Indices, Acknowledgements, etc unless they are relevant to the story or the book is non-fiction.
  • Page numbers on this site are for the end of the main story. I normally do not include appendices, extra material, and other miscellaneous stuff at the end of the book in the page count.

See my librarything icon librarything page. I use this site to catalogue books and it has more details on books than goodreads does.
